TheLocalWeb.net lists over 640,000 UK businesses including website, company description, products/services and location. You may search either by business classification or a keyword search combined with a UK location or postcode. We only list businesses with an operational website.

Using The Classification System

Use the category search to find listings by classification such as 'hotels' and 'coach hire'. All listings are in one of 320 categories grouped into the 24 sectors shown on the front page. First click on a sector - then select one or more categories. If you are not sure where a category may be then use the 'search for category' box to find it.

We show our classified search results on a geographical basis - so enter a location such as town or county. Or for more accurate results use the first part of a UK postcode - e.g. NR7, EC1, B23 etc.

Using The Keyword Search

Use the keyword search to find a specific product or service (e.g. 'Oriental Rugs' or 'Beekeepers' ). You may enter upto three words but use one or two words for quicker results. Combine with a location or first part of a postcode (e.g. NR7, EC1, B23 ) where required - or leave blank for a UK wide search.

Using The Business Name Search

For best results avoid using initials or abbreviations. Do not include 'Ltd' , '& Co' etc. Combine with a location or first part of a postcode (e.g. NR7, EC1, B23 ) where required - or leave blank for a UK wide search.

Results

Local results are shown Geographical searches will show results for ten miles about a location at first. This can be easily adjusted using the    Adjust range to miles  feature above the results.

Results are returned five at a time. Premier Listings take priority, then free listings in a random order. You may show further results using the navigationbuttons above or below the results set. National results are shown on the right where available.
