Westmorland County Agricultural Society is home of the Westmorland County Show, held on the second Thursday in September each year, the show attracts over 15,000 people and has stock entries for cattle, sheep, goats, horses and poultry, as well as excellent marquees and over 250 trade stands. Lane Farm offers an excellent venue for business meetings and the delivery of Education. The society also offers a variety of both IT and practical courses, at an award winning technology centre.
