The Practice was established on 25 March 1887 by H H Knill. Originally in London, he moved to Lewes in 1909 and in the following year he formed a partnership with E D James. So began the Firm which has remained in Lewes ever since, now consisting of six partners and 35 staff and acting for in excess of 2500 clients throughout Sussex and the South East. We now have the expertise, the resources and the Partners to be able to look after individuals and businesses of all sizes.
