Ascot, founded in 1711 by Queen Anne, is the world's most famous racecourse. In 2004 there will be 20 days of the finest flat and jump racing from January to September. We plan to close temporarily after the Finale Meeting to embark on an exciting redevelopment programme. Subject to the planning process there will be no racing at Ascot from October 2004 to early May 2006. So don't miss your chance to visit the historic Royal Racecourse.
