The Garden Centre opened it's doors on march 6th 1971 on the site of an old foundry tip, we have seen many improvements over the years culminating in our 2 million pound facelift in 1989. During the years we have been active members of the G.C.A (Garden Centre Association) and have won many awards for keeping up standards set out by the G.C.A. We have had three awards from L.O.F.A for garden furniture displays. First , second & third prize at Chelsea Flower Show (Hanging basket competition).
