Established in 1965, Leicester Karate Club began with Sensei Asano a then 4th Dan from Japan, regarded even now as a man with tremendous fighting spirit. Asano became widely known for his extremely hard training sessions! Since then, in the 35 years since, the club has grown from strength to strength and has provided top quality tuition to people of all ages and nationalities.
