Newsline (formerly Clarendon Public Relations) was established in 1980 by its principal Nigel Robinson. A former journalist, he was persuaded by his early experience of PR that there was a niche in the market for an agency staffed by people who properly understood the editorial needs of the media. His solution was to employ seasoned journalists with business flair.
