Alan Lancaster & Co. was established in May 1965 to provide a tile fixing service to house builders in North Wales who were developing large housing sites to satisfy the large and growing demand for economical homes in this area-predominantly retirement homes for the large influx of older people from the conurbations of Manchester, Merseyside and the Midlands.
